Your Hometown Parts Store

Walker Auto & Truck is a third-generation family-owned and operated parts supplier, founded by Harry Walker Jr. in 1985. We believe in doing business differently – with better parts and the most knowledgeable staff in the industry. In 2009, Walker Auto & Truck became NAPA affiliated and has since expanded to better serve central and eastern North Carolina. The goal since 1985, and still today, is to treat customers and employees like family and be the best parts team in the region.

THE WALKER WAY

WE'RE DIFFERENT
A lot of companies talk about doing things differently. We do it. Our culture is to be a hands-on family-owned and operated business with employees that truly feel they are members of the family with customers that value real partnerships.

BETTER PARTS
Our partnership with NAPA allows us to provide our customers with the most trusted name in the industry. It doesn’t stop there. Walker independence allows us to still source outside of the NAPA catalog to provide the parts professional whatever they are after – whether that’s MOPAR, Axalta Paint, ACDelco or Motorcraft.

MORE KNOW HOW
Our goal is to be the #1 source for the professional or DIY automotive, truck and marine technician. How we do that? Hire the best folks in the industry. Our team is built of parts professionals that strive every day to provide the best service and expertise possible to our customer.

HISTORY

Throughout Walker Auto & Truck’s history, the goal has always been to build the best company possible to provide industry-leading service to our customers, make a positive difference in the communities we impact and to build a company that makes our employees proud.

It is because of these ideals, loyal and new customers, and a daily passion for what we do, that we have continued to grow to become one of the largest independently-owned parts suppliers in the nation.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

With stores across central and eastern North Carolina, in cities and towns large and small, it’s important for Walker to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. As a family, we believe in helping one another through good and bad times, providing a safe, healthy and productive work environment, and having a little fun along the way.

One of the ways we do that is giving back to the community. Currently, we support the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Plain through their Billfish Classic in Beaufort, N.C. and The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, which has donated close to $5 million to support eastern N.C. We also support town chambers and smaller fundraisers in our store’s communities.
